A Tangled Web

The parables turned to metaphors, whose sentences and phrases then rang out across the land. But the bell tolls for both the faithful and the not, it is a call to an end. Truth has emerged in the world, and lies no longer have a place to hide. Evil works its way too, it covers the earth like ever tightening tentacles. And yet, you still seek after foolishness, and call it wisdom.
You have become a people with no direction, your moral compass has gone awry. What difference you think, whether a lie or the truth, as long as I get my way? Indeed you think, lies have been very good to me,  lies have served me well.
But lies come at a price, because you can never be done with lies. There is the original lie as the base, and then you must tell a number of cover up lies, and well, you get the picture. It is that tangled web you see. Conversely, the truth is simple, and needs no explanation, because, Truth just is.
