Hollywood

A man of the West has stepped into the East. An old Western called, A Man for the West, was rich in dialogue, great in cinematography, complete with sworn blood oaths, real contemplative stares, sex, beautiful scenery, and actors who were the best at their craft. One hell of a movie!
The point of all this, is not to summarize a movie, but rather a tale of how Hollywood has gone bad. The moral truths that permeated this movie were woven into the scenes with such skill, that you hardly noticed them.
But what of today's movies, and who are the actors who now work in them, compared to what was?
What morality do these portray? Has human decency and basic morality become so blase? Is it the profit that drives the shoot em ups, is it only money that is now king? If Hollywood as a community has a morality, what is it? You spray murder and death across your scenes, and then later, preach about guns? You are a joke, and you have no honor. You pick at nats, and call it morality. A doctrine based on someone's hurt feelings. What of the truth? Has telling the truth become immoral?
So what is Hollywoods morality? Allow me to take a crack at it? We've got Robert Redford, a pretty boy from the sixties moralizing a common murderer, and then calling it art. And Liam Nielsen, fresh off his last murder spree movie. Who after pocketing his millions, has the audacity to lecture the American people about guns? Hypocrisy? You bet! Most of what is now passed off as entertainment is based on lies. Where is the morality in that?
