Dark Side of the Moon

Having painted the town red, we looked to trip the light fantastic. Not sure what that light is, but it sure looks and sounds good. We spin we circle, we circumnavigate, but even with all of that, we somehow have found our way here. We enter the jungle with the agreement of you go your way and I'll go mine. So we go off alone, each on our own path. Well, each to his own way to a point, but what of the importance of our collective ways?

Time, there never seems to be enough of it. Alarms are ringing and church bells chiming saying, Wake Up! A moment of consideration first you say, Spirited debates like Virgin Vessels launched from our location, what retrieve is yet to see. Waste and clutter, a waste of time. A time to create, a time to contemplate.

All cream rises to the top, and so it is with the people of God. they've become the best they can be by learning the ways of God. Reality moves ever forward, the speed of its changes are best seen from your new perspective. But by the way and time you've found your way home, you realize that you have come full circle.

Home, it's so good to be home. Home is where your heart is and it has been said that the heart is a lonely hunter. Home, warm and safe, snuggled among family, a comfort so lacking in our rush to come round another time, and all this time you have circled only in your personal orbit. Come out and join life. Music interlude, end.

This piece is best read in concert with the song. Written while listening and reacting in time with the music, trying to write on pace with the music but trail off after the first two songs, my fingers were tied in a knot. Might I suggest Pink Floyds album version Uncut but joined as one single song. This album is special to me personally. My brother and I saw them together with not even a beer in us, and like everyone not in the band sat mesmerized as if frozen in each moment. It took us three hours to find our car, and again, no drugs or alcohol, straight. Read the script with the music.

Again, our family wishes your family a happy and blessed Thanksgiving!
