Faith

If you were to be asked the definition of faith, what would be your answer? The dictionary tells us that, Faith is, confidence or trust in a person or a thing. Belief in God. A system of religious belief. Certainly this is as good an explanation as possible for a word for something intangible and unseen. We can also glean from Webster's description that faith and belief are synonymous and interchangeable, as both words describe the same type of action. As with any action, there are degrees of faith. On one end, there is little faith, a kind of I'll give it a try type faith. On the other end of the spectrum is blind faith, as when you sit down in a chair without thinking of whether it will hold you or not. Seeing as how the dictionary placed so much of its definition on God and religion, lets see the bible's definition.

Hebrews, chapter one, verse one. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, in the evidence of things not seen. You may not be able to see faith, but its end result is clear. The person you offered that comfortable chair to and sat down in faith, is either comfortably seated, or sprawled out on the floor. So then, seeing as Faith is the subject, and because the dictionary placed the onus of faith's definition with God and religion, let us add one more element to the discussion. That word being Truth. Most people think that the truth is subjective. In other words, what is true for me may not be true for you. But in matters of great importance, after the subject has been danced all around, in the end, the talk means nothing if the subject matter is an Absolute truth, it either is true or it isn't. Such a subject of course is the existence of a supreme intellect, the existence of God. He either exists or he doesn't.

For myself, God has never been more real to me than he is now, as I have seen many proofs. Admittedly, it took me a long time to accept it myself as I am a man of logic and something must make sense to me logically before I can pursue it any further. For most of my life I considered myself what most people are today, an agnostic. Agnosticism is to be a fence sitter, an arrogance that says to the person, I am well versed on both sides of the subject and I'm still weighing it in my mind. The hidden arrogance in such a statement is a way of concealing their cowardice when it comes to a decision. Believe it or not, the way to make the existence of God a reality to such non deciders is not in the ancient scriptures, but in a common sense point of view as to where we are today, with our fascination with all things computer. All of these machines came to be, not on their own, but by highly skilled engineers and coders. By a living intellect that is higher than the computers, (the created), but rather by their designers. (the creators).

When you think of it logically, it is obvious, and after all is said and done, what are your choices. God and intelligent design, or evolution, that depends on happenstance and luck. Faith is the subject right? It takes a lot more faith to believe in a theory, which is false on so many levels, than it does to believe in a creator, God. If evolution is your choice, keep Lou Reed's lyrics in mind when he says, It takes a truckload of faith to get by.

Eastern Star

The importance of the East is referenced throughout the Bible. Indeed, from Genesis to Revelation, from beginning to end, all things important to the truth, all make reference to importance of the East. In Genesis, the two lovers sinned and ate of the tree of the knowledge. And at that moment, were introduced to the existence of another train of thought, that of evil. That bit of knowledge must have been seen as a small matter to the two at that time. But once evil entered the minds of men, it became like a small nodule seemingly unimportant at the time. But that small nodule was dangerous, and it has spread like a cancer in mankind, making the whole body sick.

When the Lord God kicked Adam and Eve out of the garden, he placed a cherubim at the East gate of the garden to protect the "Tree of Life" from their access forever. Back then, the Tree physically existed near the Euphrates river, and it is this same river that is referenced by John of Patmos as he scribed the Revelations of Jesus Christ. In these revelations, as found in chapter 16, we are told of the seven bowels of God's wrath that will be poured out upon the earth, the sixth being poured down from heaven directly on this same Euphrates river.

The Eastern Star which shined so brightly in the beginning, is the same star which shined even brighter on the night of His berth, is there now, and will be there, until the end of this age.

Baseball Too

The stadium opened it's doors around twelve, as a gift to their fans, their base if you will. They came early to suck it all in, to bask in the early morning's sun, to watch which of their players are getting in some early work, and of course, in the hope that they might score an autograph. Most of the platers who were in the field, did oblige the die hards signing autographs. It occurred to me, that this early group a couple of hundred strong I'd estimate, was an accurate barometer as to all of the fans who will be at tonight's game, a crowd that will be loud and eager to help push their team to a game one victory at home. But they fill this place to overfill not only for their team, but for their game. People of every type, many different counties of origin, people from different cultures, all coming together as one, all to scream against the sky, all for the love of the game. In our baseball stadiums across this great land, people in the different cities all go through similar celebration and excitement. The reason is for individual teams of course, but the people come for much more than a mere simple game, they come to bask in the glory of a summer's day, they come to watch the best of our beloved game, but mostly they come because human beings are drawn to purity, and although our backgrounds are different, we are drawn to the celebration of purity, and cherish the grounds these games are played on, as these being pure are sacred. People of all type and color, people of differing beliefs. Many different people, united as one. E Pluribus Unum Whether their team wins or loses, they have come to watch as the best of our game make us proud to be a part. Yes ladies and gentlemen, we may be many, we may root for different teams, but when it comes to our game, we look forward to the thrills and chills that come when we gaze upon people who strive to be worthy of the game that has given them so much. More than just huge amounts of money, but rather of a new spirit, the spirit of freedom! They have come here to witness greatness, they have come here to witness the high drama that awaits them, and they wait to watch history being made right before their eyes, but they are more than just watchers of history, they are part of it. God bless our great game, and God bless the United states of America!

Baseball, the great American Parable

This is a good time to be writing about baseball, as today is travel day for the two teams, and  they leave behind the icy chill of a New England evening's fall chill, and ready themselves to play the next three scheduled games at the Dodger's home park in the warmth and sun of southern California. Boston leads the series two games to none, having won both of the opening games at their home field at Fenway. But this not about the actual games, but rather as a way of using the game as if it were America. I wrote a little note on my home page about baseball and this World Series in the hope that some would comment on their views of the game. But of course, as usual, no one did. But I digress. Even though like all of us, I have my biases', which, left to themselves, would have me root for one team over the other. Even though things like my natural desire to root for the American league over the National league tug at me some times, for the most part, I have remained agnostic about this game. Of course if my Yankees were playing, then all such constraints would be long gone! What I'd be happy with at this time is a well played game, one played for team rather than self, and may the best team win. For those of you who are unsure what a parable is, it is much like a metaphor but different. Still confused? Sorry. Everything from this sentence on will be talking about baseball's biggest game, but it is really about America at it's best.

Hello everyone, it's Clark Kent, your mild mannered sports announcer for WNFF radio, 99.9 on your FM dial. As most of you already know, Boston is up two games to zip, and I know that the Dodgers are very happy to return to LA, and that warm California sun. I've been here at the park early this morning, as a combination of my press pass and hot coffee and an egg sandwich made the security guy at the gate much more understanding of our little group. We didn't get set up until a little while ago, but right now its 12 noon here, and 9AM where you are. Ah the wonder of radio. When we got in a little after 9:30, a small group of players worked  honing their skills, and we marveled at their dedication as the game isn't until tonight. But being just a new start-up station, we spent a lot of time watching the crews from Fox Sports set up the cameras and sets. A lot of work, but pretty cool to watch. The stadium decided to open its gates for the early bird fans at twelve, and a small group of a couple of hundred seemed to appear out of nowhere. As I watched them, I noticed, that so much like the country itself, there were so many different types of people. Like a microcosm of tonight's crowd that will undoubtedly be jammed to the rafters. (End part one)

She's America's Game

We're talking baseball, the Hammer and the Mick.. (Much better with music). So the National league championship has moved from the heart of America to Tinseltown. Fitting in a bad way using that perspective, but in that light, one side for each in the shame of our current national divide. But baseball thank God, has remained clean of the filth of politics. Unlike the other game capable of filling stadiums to overflow, which has embraced politics over pure sport. Although some of baseballs players are free to their own political point of view, as a game, baseball has remained far from the source of our divide, that being political correctness.

As I write this, game three of the National league has already been decided, and Milwaukee being the winner, takes a 2-1 advantage. The beauty of baseball in particular, and all sport generally, is that when it is played within the rules, and within the confines of the fields and lawns on which they are played, it is a beautiful thing. Sport is the best of us, because sport is pure, and allowing for my bias, baseball is the greatest of all sport. I didn't get to bed last night until after the post game show, and then woke up at 4:45 AM. So what else would I do with all this peace and quiet than read or write? Obviously, I chose the latter.

Now baseball in and of itself is a great game, but Playoff baseball brings the game to a whole other level. In playoff baseball, what would seem insignificant during the 160 game schedule, can become the subject of furious debate. October baseball, high drama? You bet. Like most fans of the game after our team has been eliminated, we eventually make our choices of who we pull for of the four teams remaining, and love talking about who we think will emerge as the best team in the world. Milwaukee to all but themselves and their fans are seen as the under dog, and as is our benevolent nature, most Americans find themselves rooting for the under dog. Los Angeles with its big market location and its huge salary could be seen as the mighty Goliath standing in the way of little David. C'mon David!

As for the American league, there is no such glaring difference, as the two teams are as evenly matched with all the factors of the game, so much so that the winner could easily be chosen by a coin flip. Houston of course won it all last year and look now to become another baseball dynasty. Boston too has won it all, and are quite capable of winning this one. As for me, I have no dog in this fight, and I believe that whoever wins the American league pennant, will become the champions of baseball.

In the end of course, it makes no difference what I think or what anyone else thinks as there is only one who knows the outcome, and that is God. For him, because he is outside of time, these coming games, their outcomes and their stories, is a matter of history. I wish he'd tell me, but I'd probably do something stupid like look up my old bookie? Play on you boys of Summer, because winter is right around the corner.

Looking for America

Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord. ( Psalm 13:12 ).

My people my people, what am I to do with you? You strain at the bit while kicking at the goads. Each day you become more like Sodom, saith the Lord. You have become a people at sea, with no rudder to steer. This nation was founded under my name, even your currency says so. But your history remains to be finished. If you look, The United States is not mentioned by name anywhere in the holy scriptures, other then the parallels, which like all things, will come around again. That time is now. You are not mentioned in the bible, because your full history is yet to be determined. When I set this country up to be a beacon to the entire world, a light made bright by the most glorious desires of them all. Freedom! Many people from all over, many different tongues and dialects, all looking to find freedom, from all and any type of oppression.

A rich country with plenty of room, a country blessed with every natural resource known to man. They did come, and they still look to come, especially those under the boot of tyranny. I gave you a new form of government, one run by the people, because America's strength and power comes from its people. You are a patchwork of people, a quilt of many colors and textures. Yes you are many, but you are one. For with this experiment of government, you should know that by having the power, comes the old saying, To whom much is given, much is expected, and with great power comes great responsibility. So where is America, and what is it she is to become? You see, there is evil at the gates, there are those who tear at the stitches which holds our blanket together, and they have no god but themselves. They look always to accuse, always to separate. They know no better, as they have become blind to the truth, and that is the decision that is up to you the voters. That my friends is up to you, up to me, and up to you! May our God continue to bless this land, there is still time, together we can right this ship, while separated we can do nothing.

America's pas-time

As a long time Yankee fan, and as I felt like writing, what lies in draft form is far more important, but it will have to wait, that is, until the intentional interruptions finally leave. By the way, the one waiting to come to a paper near you is called, Looking for America. So, making lemonade out of lemons, I turned to something that is easier.
I am a fan, but far from a fanatic. I love the game, have so all my life. I'm not going to speak about my Yankees specifically, as I'll leave it to others, but rather about the game itself. For the game by itself is sacred, pure. The thinking man's game for sure, as for me, even though a prefer the designated hitter, I thought the most interesting game from that perspective, was by far and away the Chicago vs. Rockies. (If I'm wrong on the two teams, you can hang me at sunrise). To say that I'm not a fan of the binary efforts as a way to manage a baseball team is an understatement. They are a tool and nothing more. And while I'm off on this little tangent, I might as well go on. There is so much one could say about this subject, as there is a lot. But let me at least say this. May they never take away living breathing umpires!

But beyond that, lets dig a little deeper shall we? At its core, baseball is a very easy game to learn. Like any sport, the "game" leads its players to be ever pushing to excel. and as for life lessons learned from a game played.  Life lessons? It, the game, can only make you a better person. Are there exceptions? of course there are, but these are the type players who are into the game for themselves, they don't understand the gift they've been given is a gift from God. Think about the millions of kids throughout the world, who dream of being where these select few are someday.

Gripes in opinion form. The shift: Because I'm only a fan, take what I say with a grain of salt if you must, but I'll never understand how professional hitters can't hit an outside pitch with authority. You hit baseballs for a living, and you can't stop being a dead pull hitter? I'll tell you a story that I just found out about recently myself. Joe Maddon is a great coach, and when he started using it in Tampa I believe, obviously, he started something. But as Solomon once said, There is nothing new under the sun, and so it is with this. The greatest hitter of all time, Boston's own, Ted Williams, was held to a paltry 116 in the world series. How? The shift.

But skipping ahead to more recent times, when Joe's team would go into these switches, their pitching staff were told to stay inside, to entice them into hitting into the switch.  But now, the pitchers throw outside often to these pull hitters. Maybe its me, but I would take that as in insult. I'm a professional hitter, and I can't learn to hit a ball with authority where its pitched?

The making of President Donald Trump

Whether your God is God the father, or your god is science, there is no denying that Barack Hussein Obama created the need for a Donald Trump. With science we are told from the laws of physics, that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. From the spiritual side of things, How else do you explain Mr. Trump becoming President Trump if not for a miracle. A down to earth, blown wide open in the sky for all to see, miracle! Never before in our young history had one man triumphed over such seemingly insurmountable odds. No wonder Hillary couldn't understand it as I doubt she's too bright when it comes to physics, and I Know that when it comes to belief of a God outside of herself, she is cold as ice.

After eight very long years, freedom loving Americans watched in horror as all that was considered clean and sacred was tarnished by bullying, and ridiculed by laughter. But unlike the left, the right suffered in silence, all the time thinking to themselves, This next election, I'm going to take the time to understand things clearly, and then I'm going to the polls and vote. No screaming like a banshee in the streets, no rioting, no looting, no lawlessness. Oh, and as a side bonus to you who think conservatives are conscious about the environment, every mass meeting of those silly Tea Party people, not a speck of paper was left to clean up, only overfilled trash cans. Mean while, back in NYC, the Occupy Wall streeters were shitting all over Bryant Park.

So love him or hate him, do our ex-president some love, because without him, there would never have been President Donald J. Trump. May God continue to bless this great nation on this day of remembrance, this day, Sept. 11, 2018

Bank of America (BOA) part two

Now onto the business of banking in America today. I had recently opened a checking account with the Bank of America, and short lived as my staying with them was, the story of what happened needs telling. My wife had advised me not to take on another big target, and after the distress and harassment it cost that still goes on today, I agreed with her. Maybe I should rest for a while, and meld back into the faceless crowd and disappear. But because I answer to a much higher authority, I cannot leave the lies to go on unchallenged. Even though I don't own a gun, I paid a year's dues to join the NRA, especially as I think it was anti-fa who threatened to hack into anyones bank to disturb their ability to do banking electronically. It wasn't an idol threat, as I got an email from BOA corporate, that my account had in fact been hacked, after many trips to the bank to be able to gain access to my finances electronically, all of which failed.

In addition to this problem, recently, on two locations, my BOA issued credit card was rejected? So I go again to my local office on Rt. 70 in Lakewood, to find out what is wrong this time. After a banker from that bank finally got through to Corporate, I was told by the woman on the phone, that my credit card has been dropped because I failed to pay a twenty five dollar late fee, for the card which I had signed an agreement to have my charge paid off automatically in full, each month. But even if I had been late on a $25. dollar fee, What bank stops your card for that? Late fees and unpaid balances are what they want so they can charge you 30% interest on your unpaid balance. Everyone knows that. So you say to yourself, thats personal, how does it a affect me, and what makes such banking procedures so dangerous? Because along with my provable complaints, is the fact that it is also reported that Bank of America has suddenly made common business loans next to impossible for small companies and larger ones who are tied in any way to the gun industry. So now we can expect publicly owned corporations to get involved in politics, and by their choice, chancing to lose the business of not just the proud patriots of this country, but even of the left who is smart enough to see that if the bank refused to fairly serve those who have had abortions, that (BOA), and other such behemoths, who look to intimidate those customers whose politics, the bank's leadership disagrees with is a really serious danger. I'll say one thing for these elitist types, they hate the people because they took the Constitution seriously, that clearly states that the true power is held by we the people. We got rid of kings long ago. I wonder if you took these lock step ideologues back to the beginnings of this great country would they be on the side of the people, or their only loyalty would go to the Crown?

Bank of America (BOA) part one

The problems and abuses created by this attempted take over by a bloodless coup has just become infinitely more dangerous. Remember the great fanfare made of a small business who refused to make a cake celebrating homo-sexuality because of religious reasons? Remember how much the rabid left looked to destroy this family owned and operated business? Remember how gleefully the leftist media looked to shame these Americans because they denied the religion of the left, which is the religion of men and not God. With their religion, there is no set in stone morality, as what they see as being moral changes often, depending on which way the wind blows. Who, or what, is the god of this new religion? Believe it or not, these fools look to the government and its status quo elitists leaders who have had their way in spades after eight years of Barack Hussein Obama. Labeled a Muslim by Hillary in the 2008 primaries, and labeled a Marxist by his choice of college study, and his willingness to become the leader of the new world order under the fantasy of a one world government, an idea that was defeated by the people of the UK who decided to remain autonomous and free rather than be governed by some central controller, located somewhere in the world. America's Brexit was the election of Donald Trump, where again, it was the working class, long since forgotten, who rose up and said soundly, No more, and elected President Trump, soundly beating Hillary and her global initiative. Picking on a small business, and accusing them of discrimination is small stuff, but when that discrimination comes from a huge conglomerate Corporation in the banking business, well thats a horse of a far more dangerous color.

Speaking the truth to power has cost me dearly in the last years. It is relentless, and peace of mind is hard to find, even sometimes rising to the level where you would be happy just to find a quiet place. As I have said many times before, the truth is an equal opportunity offender, and being an admitted evangelical Christian, it seems someone is always mad at me. Not just from the left, as they being unable to think freely are easily dispatched, but also from the Christian side, I call them the "jot and tittle" crowd, and many of them, like the Pharasees before them, believe that salvation comes only from the law. These, though their access to salvation remains in spite of themselves, are the type who with good intentions, will tell you that you need their guidance. You don't, as that is the Lord's business. Excuse me, as I digress. The political side of things, unlike faith in God is a deep subject, politics and the PC warriors who look to stifle free speech are much more obvious, and therefore, much easier to dispatch as mere fools. The true base of the left are the anarchists like anti-fa, occupy Wall St. and such ilk, who the Democrats have protected and nurtured as being necessary when their is no logic to their pointless point of view and it is rejected. Time to bring in the new brown shirts, and turn them lose to attack people physically, and to destroy as much property as they can. My wife and I finally got our day in court, and though true and complete justice was denied, a fall guy was chosen to take the rap, while the one with powerful political connections got off scot free. You would think after almost two years and still counting,  I would have taken the small victory and dropped exposing those involved who openly helped the connected one from due process, and I have. If you think you can't fight city hall, try it at the County level. Obviously, most if not all of what I've written hasn't much to do with the bank in question. To find out, please see page two.

Happy Memorial Day

Honor our warriors, both past and present. Those who's blood and suffering was done so that we remain free. Even for those who use that right to disrespect our great country. Those who for whatever reason, can't find the greater need within our troubled nation for unity, and consider their point of view as more important than to honor our flag and our Nation.

And now on a more personal note,

As for me, I am spending this day the same way I do most, alone. But today, probably because of the Holiday, I got disconbobulated, in other words, out of sync. I was late to start my Saturday morning routine, and was quite late for my usual Saturday morning fare. So finally, I watch the two recorded shows from earlier of Have Gun Will Travel, and then topped off the drama I had just watched with some comic relief, and watched The Simpson's episode i had recorded at 11:30 last night.

Now here's the thing I found interesting in the three shows. All three productions were about cutlery. Paladan fought a knife fight to the death, and a sword fight that injured his opponent, but left the moral of the story in tact. And as for my choice of comic relief, Homer is made King for the day, that day being during the time of Mozart. He, Homer, is in search of a wife and a Queen with which in his words, wants to get a bun in the oven ASAP. Many apply to fill the bill, but as each one fails him for some reason, he has them guillotined. In the end, Lisa poisons her Brother Mozart, and winds up insane and taken to the jail for the criminally insane.

You know, it wasn't such a bad day afterall.

NFF News

For those of you who are not familiar with this news outlet, the acronym is, News From The Front. The front of what you might ask? It is news from the front lines of the spiritual warfare that is raging world wide. We watch the news, a killing there, a killing here, all across the globe, people are scratching their heads and asking why. Why indeed? The bible predicted, or Prophecized,  both kind of the same word. Spell check didn't know it. No surprise here, as the guy, or gal, (for you PCers), has no understanding of the word, because if he did, I'd have the corrected spelling. Artificial intelligence is well named, because it isn't from a living entity, and so, in the matter of my little buddy Spell, it didn't know because his designer didn't know.

Well, I certainly went off on a tangent with that one. Anyway, back to the reason I came here in the first place. Today is what? May the 3rd? Whatever it is, what would you say was the most important story of today? go ahead, I'll wait.. OK, times up! The military community has just put out an adviso:  That no Chinese phones could be used on the premises. Certainly not in the Pentagon, nor the CIA, or the FBI.. I hear Mick Jagger singing somewhere. sorry. But the reasoning is, that these phones were programmed to remain open all the time. So what, you say? Suppose you are the world's greatest super spy, like James Bond, or the kid that played in that film where he kills this black dude. (wrong movie) I can't think of his name now, but he pals around with that other idiot, from Boston I believe? Anyway, your a very important person, and your County's safety depends on you. And you are sitting in an office at one of the aforementioned Departments, and you phone, and worse, your bosses phone is sitting quietly on the desk you both are sitting at. No big deal? Psst.. You know whose listening? The Chinese. It happens in our largest Corporations too. And all this time we thought they had the greatest hackers in the world, but all they were really doing was listening. How about it, all you huge conglomerate news agencies, Do you think you can stop your obsession with a duly elected President, and do your real job. Report on these things. Stormy and her idiot lawyer? Do your job, inform the public, because you know what they say about opinions? Opinions are like A-holes, everybody has one.

Knowing the way,

I know a way that the postal service can be self sufficient, within 3-5 years. What sets it apart from it's rival, Email? It's safe! You want to send a personal letter to someone, and that you want to know that only that person will receive it. No little geek somewhere, is going to read your mail by picking it out of some cloud.

Strangely, I need a job, So if the Post office is willing, hire me as your ad campaign director. So what do you say, can I have the job?

Oceans of Time

I have been taken and forsaken, I have been round about and in and out. I have been around, and I have slept flat on my back. I have loved and lost, but I have seen enough of it to thirst for it, like a deer pants for the water of life.

What goes by in the endless river of time as it flows continually, has not escaped me. I watched as the small tributaries and streams joined with the river of time, and then of course as the river met it's destination, I watched as the river dumped it's story into the great oceans of time. Some of it stayed as surface waters, while other parts of the roaring river dumped full deep into the oceans.

I have watched as the jackals have surrounded our camps, but they are of no concern to us. For as for ourselves, we are lost in thought of the memories each of us have left in our wake as we travel downstream like the rest. More and more of the past's memories become dimmer. We remember with fondness the small victories, and with a sense of dread, those memories of when we inflicted pain on others, and of those who inflicted it on us. All will fade, and eventually, all will be forgotten, as little by little at first, we look forward instead of back, eventually loosing our fear of what is ahead, we begin to anticipate it. What will it be like to join into the great Ocean of Eternity? Eternal life, and wisdom of all things. Because now you are beyond the restraints of time, and you quickly understand the answer as to why? Here there is no need of time. Here, a minute can seem like years, and years like minutes.

Mark Knopfler - In The Sky

Mark Knopfler - In The Sky Imagine. I swear to you it's true, I had no intention of writing this, I went here so it would show on my Blog page. But when I noticed the pretty writing box, just waiting there like a beautiful woman, well, I just had to go in.
Oh hell, here we go.. I want those of you so entrenched in the far left to think for a moment. Do you really think it was alright for FB to block Diamond and Silk? Because those two just joined a very exclusive club. I'm a chartered member myself. Both FB and Twitter dropped allowing my Tested Truths blog to post on there site for well over five years. It turned out for good, as somehow, someway, here we all are now.
Imagine this lefty's, instead of conservative and Christian points of view being stopped, but rather, Mother Jones or the Huffington post. You see, the door of prejudice and the vilification of any group is an infringement on all of our freedoms. Today I'm the target, but what happens when the PC Police show up at your door?

A Day in the Life

If parasites have insight, then horses would fly. I have no idea what that means as most probably, I found the thought interesting or funny? The thought came in a flurry of thoughts, and it happened just a few moments ago as I just sat down after returning from my morning coffee while sitting outside.

But as so often is the case, Too many thoughts came into my mind way too fast to process. So in reality, when the Lord blesses you by sharing His thoughts with you for a moment, They come at you so fast, each one interesting in its own self. His mind is so fast, that it is impossible to keep up. How fast you ask? Faster than a speeding bullet, and fast enough to make the coyote choke on the road runner's dust. Key word jargon? Hmmm...

Apparently, this is to be a live accounting, notes comprised of moments of mine just minutes after they happen. I didn't know that I was going to write, but I do know that the first sentence I heard from the Lord was not lost in the jumble of the thoughts yet to come, as at that moment I had left my front porch and looked up at the sky above me, and I heard a voice like thunder from the heavens say clear as a bell, Write! and I said, Yes Lord.

And so it was as it is, a piece of me, direct from the scene. But what to call it? I remember the last words I said to him as I re-entered the house. I asked of Him, What is to be the title? He answered and said, Just write and it will come. So here it is, as it was, the first name to come up. A Day in the Life. What do you think?  Though I don't like writing about myself, at least it wasn't political. So then, having said that, it leads me to say this, Good bye for now all, have a great day!

Happy Easter

Two thousand eighteen years ago, a man died a horrible death, the most important man in history, a man who's death we celebrate this weekend, rather than mourn. Usually, when we look back on the life of one of the great people who has passed into history, we do so with a sense of sadness and loss. But this man was different, as his death didn't mean the end, but a beginning. So important was this man, that our modern day calendars are the means of accurately marking time both before his death and after it. Time before his life is recognized as being B.C., and the time that came after his death as A.D.

I am speaking of course about of the God-man Jesus Christ. Though the haters of God look to do what haters of all types look to do and are doing still, and that is, to remove statues, and chiseled rock monuments of any kind, many of which have stood for thousands of years, that do not agree with their narrow and wrongful point of view.  but enough about hate. Haters hate, thats just what they do. They have zero tolerance for anything or anyone who challenges what they have been taught to believe. Haters are taught, as it is not their nature, and frankly, beyond their ability, to think for themselves. They are always the product of group think, and soon become a mob rather than a rational group of people.  Just some friendly advice, Stay away from the type who insists on you believing and thinking as they do, as slaves are made in such ways.

Today is Good Friday, the day we mark as a most important day. A day not for mourning, but a day where though a terrible one to endure for the man Jesus, was the beginning of the plan as decided by God the Father as the only way to take away the sins of us all. Most all of the religions throughout history required the spilling of innocent blood as a way to atone for the sins and wrong doing of the group. We have all heard the stories of virgins being sacrificed by heathens by slaughtering them or pushing them into a volcano. There is nothing new in some kind of blood sacrifice as a way to appease a god of any kind. Indeed, the ancient Jews were instructed by men through God, to spill the blood of an innocent animal, usually the purest lamb available. Those who couldn't afford a lamb, would buy and offer small animals like birds to be killed and sacrificed for their families. It was by design a gruesome event, as the blood of the sacrificed had to be spilled on the alters of the Synagogue and Temples to impress upon the people of how grievous God saw sin.

But God the Father in his wisdom looked because of the love he had for his created people, for a way for the sinful to attain eternity with Him. A way that once done for all was the way of forgiveness for all that had happened and all that was yet to come. So He took a part of Himself, and sent His son Jesus to be born of a virgin, to grow up among us, and to die for us as the perfect and pure sacrifice for all who acknowledged His son as the only way to Himself. (see John 3:16) He, Jesus, came to earth knowing full well that he was to be scorned and ridiculed, beaten and spat upon, scourged till the flesh on his body was torn away, and to finally die nailed to a cross. No greater love could any man have for another, to not only die for them, but to suffer so until death would finally end his suffering. Jesus came into this world to teach the way of God, yes, but he was to be offered up as a living sacrifice, innocent of wrong, a pure sacrifice, done once, and done for all, forever. He came the first time as the Lamb of God, given as a living sacrifice, given as the only way to attain eternal life with God as one in God, as is our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ.

Therefore, today is the day we recognize as the day that the man Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice for us all, a sad day yes, but not a day for mourning, but rather of thankfulness. As it was on this day that we are reminded of how great a sacrifice was made for us. How great was this sacrifice? Worse than the beatings and the spitting and all forms of disrespect that He had to endure, was the fact that for what must have seemed an eternity for the Son, he was separated from his Father in Heaven, as God the Father turned His gaze away from his son, as at that moment, Jesus became the worst of what we were, and the worst of all we would be. Jesus became for that brief moment, a murderer, a rapist, a pedophile, and all of the murderous tyrants who were and who was to come. He became at that moment the epitome of the filth of sin, and his Father could not bear to look upon him. Jesus sensing this cried out, Father, my God, why have you forsaken me? Surely, this moment of separation must have been worse than evan the atrocities he had endured.

The great news? On the third day he rose from the grave in which they had placed his body, and for a short time joined again with his followers who loved him, teaching them about what had happened so that they fully understood the significance. He also taught them some of the many secret things of God, and then, before rising up in their sight into the heavens, commanded them to, Go out into all the world and spread the good news of the gospel.

Keep in mind, that even though some years later, the followers of Jesus's teachings were called Christians, and that from this original group of followers were to give berth to many religions.  True Christianity is not a religion of any name, but rather, calls to the individual to a personal relationship and a steadfast belief in who Jesus was and is. Read and study the bible, and as scripture tells us, meditate on it day and night, for there is no religion of men that can save you. As Jesus himself said, I am the Way, the Truth and the Life, and no one comes to the Father except through me. Happy Easter!

The Power of Words

There is no power on earth more powerful than words. It is words that are the greatest influence on mankind, and there is none greater than that of language and the use of words. For it is the use of words that inspire men and women to the greatness and honor of good, and also to the evil that men do. Men do not pick up the weapons of war and go about killing each other, and commit incredible acts of violence and cruelty against one and other without being inspired by the words and thoughts of their leaders. Their words being the source of the peoples willingness to engage in war and the atrocities that comes from war. The incredible acts of violence and hatred toward another people must first come from the people who the people look to as their leaders. Throughout all of human history, it is the well crafted words of evil people that ultimately lead to unspeakable acts of depraved violence between one people against another. Madmen like Adolph Hitler and so many other historical tyrants were gifted orators, with the ability to use soaring rhetoric to inspire their people to violence, and left unchecked, will ultimately lead to the atrocities committed against a people like we saw against the Jewish people in the second World War, and the beheadings and atrocities committed by the modern day Islamic extremists today. Conversely, it is also the use of words and the crafting of language that can stir the hearts of people to rise above the teachings of hatred and the violence taught by those who are evil. Sadly, because of the human condition, that was first shown when Cain killed his brother Abel, it is far easier to use people's natural tendencies to fear people who are different from them, than it is to inspire the best of humankind. People in general, all of us, left to our natural urges and fears, are selfish and self indulged, to the point that we see ourselves and those who think as we do, as being more important than those who we see as different. Thankfully there are others who are much different than the tyrants who care only about their selfish ambitions, and look always to divide the people against one and other to accomplish their evil goals. Strangely, for whatever reason, history recalls the lives and actions of these evil people more so than the few who stand with honor against such tyranny. Most probably because the tyrants of the world look to impose a group think mentality, as did Hitler with the German people, rather than those who look to embolden people to be individuals and think freely and for themselves. Evil thinking people always look to use our natural state of being social beings as the way to introduce a group think mentality, where free thinking people look to champion individuality and free thought, and allow the individual to choose others who are of like mind on their our own volition. By nature, not only are we a social type people, as we think ourselves to be safer in groups and that there is strength in numbers, but it is by this very nature that those who are evil exploit that desire as a weakness. Indeed, individuality and free thought is the enemy of centralized forms of government such as socialism and communism, which can only survive in a group think mentality. Where in our form of government, a Democratic Republic, individuality and entrepreneurship is encouraged along with the growth that such a form of government encourages, namely capitalism that is so despised by the left.

Our forefathers who looked to free us from the tyranny that a central government, in our case being a king, also knew, that absolute power corrupts absolutely. And so in their wisdom, looked to form a government where the people had the power, and instilled the only real leader that such a free people could have, that being God. All of our most precious national documents, set in motion on the founding of this great nation, reference God as the only real authority over the people, assuring that we were a free people under God, with certain inalienable rights, such as life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, and that though we were free individuals and equal by law, that we were one people, under God. So then, what is the power of words? Perhaps it was best said by the apostle John (chapter1, vs. one), in his accounting of the beginning from the book of Genesis. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God".  Our founding fathers knew this, as did Abraham Lincoln later on, and as did in modern times, men like Dr. Martin Luther King, and the most recent great American leader to leave us, Billy Graham. And if we are to continue to be that beacon of freedom to all the world, we must return to our roots, we must return to God.

Leading from Behind

Just recently, I was asking myself a question that I have puzzled over for years. The term, Leading from behind that Obama first used. What did it mean, and where did it come from? This is the manor that God often uses to answer your questions. While channel surfing early this morning, I came upon the AHC channel, and it was about Stalin. When the Germans attacked Moscow, Stalin quickly formed a million man army, who marched out with the understanding that they in the front ranks must always move forward. They were warned that their leaders were behind them, with orders to shoot any man who took one step back. Their leaders were behind them, Lead from behind. Karl Marx who came before Stalin would have been proud. Whether or not Stalin was quoting some teaching of Marx, or he had conjured it up himself is unknown, but the sealed college transcripts of Barack Obama is most likely  stacked full of Marxist teachings. The apple of his eye, his father, who he writes about so fondly was a Muslim, and hated the West and all it stood for. He particularly hated Winston Churchill, and that is why one of his first acts in the Whitehouse was to mail the bust of Churchill back to England.

The point of all this is not to attack Mr. Obama, we can only hope that history accurately describes he and the eight years that his regime was in power was more than just a conspiracy, but was in reality our nation's first political coup, some prefer bloodless coup. Hillary was to carry the flag forward, but a wonderful thing happened, the American people woke up. It was to be a shoe in, afterall she was promised it was her turn and believed that she couldn't loose. And why not? The Democratic party had the press in its pocket, all the old accusations of racism, sexism, and every other type of isms' or ists' that you could imagine were all in place, and a complicit press was more than willing to use it's constitutionally guaranteed freedom to become propagandists rather than true journalists.

So what happened? how could Donald Trump possibly win with all that and a limitless back roll behind Ms. Clinton? Well, if you remember from the first paragraph, I was telling you one of the ways God speaks to us without saying a word, and the answer is like that, but on a much bigger scale. This country was founded on the precepts of an ancient Rabbi named Jesus. So the answer then is what you already expected, and that is that God stepped in, Marxism in all of it's forms outlaws religious freedoms, particularly the Jewish faith in the 20th century, and Christianity in the 21st. For Socialism, Communism, and all such central control forms of government to survive, it must have a lockstep mentality, and that only the government must be worshiped. And there is no room for God and individual freedoms.

Make no mistake, this is not over yet, because the biggest threat to our nation's sovereignty is not from outside our borders but within.  We are much to great a military adversary for any nation to even consider attacking us, because before that the target must be softened, and what better way to do that than to separate us and have us fighting with each other. Divide and conquer, a house divided. Do these sayings ring a bell?

Unamed

There is a rhythm to life, a cadence. I was reminded of this when I caught myself counting the movements necessary to get the new doggie bag of poop into the larger, plastic bag. The things that we do almost without thought, like tying your shoes are done most times to an exact way each time, when we make a mistake in this process, it throws are timing off. Its a cadence thing. factoid I guess? mornin all.

Super Shame Sunday

So the day is almost upon us. A one day extravaganza, so huge, that there is talk of making work on the Monday morning after optional. What it used to be was a celebration of the honor and integrity of sport. Team against team, man against man, you give your all, and I will give mine, and the outcome to be winner take all. The game in and of itself is pure, and wherever purity is to be on in the open, it makes the field on which it's played sacred. Football like any team game is loaded with drama, a drama born of competition. The many decisions and adjustments that go on during the game, both for the team and the individuals who play it, is part of the beauty of this game, as it is in any sport. For the fans who love the game, it is meant for them as an escape for a few hours from the rigors of everyday life. Especially so, as an escape from the filth of politics which has so divided this great land.

Roger Goodell, (president of the NFL), inadvertently spoke the truth when he said recently, the the game and the field it's played on is sacred, and therefore is no place for politics. Of course in Roger's case, he has twisted the truth in a way to fit his agenda and his political leanings. He has now added fuel to an already burning issue, by refusing to allow a thirty second commercial by the American Veterans association to de aired during his game.

Being strictly a PR guy, he is counting on two things to pull this slap in the face to the very people who bled and died so that he and his followers can become wildly rich, while preaching his version of morality on the fans of this great game. First, he is counting on the apathy of the American people, and second, his PR people have assured him that the patriotic sham they have planned for half time will serve to be just enough propaganda to cause the fence sitters to see only the show and it's meaningless words, rather than the actions already taken by him and those players who seem hell bent to bring back the old saying, #Dumb jocks. The premise this false narrative is based on is that racism is still rampart in the country. This after a man of color was elected twice, and virtually all of the highest offices in the land had blacks as it's leaders. The fact that most of these dumb pawns follow the lie of angelic Michael Brown is most probably because wherever they get their news, they have never seen the stores security camera's video account of the assault of a small Philapeano grocer by Michael while his cousin, (the kid who swore Browns hands were raised),  grabbed handfuls of cigars or Slim Jims off the counter. Assuming the store's video hasn't gone the way of Hillary's emails, look it up yourself. This happened just mere minutes before their encounter with the police. The "Hands Up" movement is based on a lie.

What can you do about this? Although I don't consider this a call for a boycott, as that is a weapon of the left, I do know that by not watching a game I would like to see, I have in effect voted by my lack of viewership, and cast a vote against those who knowingly or not, look to divide this country. As for me and my house, we vote no, and we won't be watching the game this year.
