Not Alone

  Well now, hello all my old facebook friends, how have you all been? I've been away, it was politics you see, and I have figured out one of the culprits? My cable company owns NBC, and they control my phone, TV, and internet connection! Now I don't want to say that NBC leans too far to the left, but lately, Lenin has been complaining about them stepping on his toes?
  It is a brave new world out there, and we are all caught up in it! Because this is way beyond politics, and it doesn't matter whether you consider yourself to be to the left or right of center? For there are other politics being played here, and it is the politics of religion! The Bible calls it Spiritual Warfare, but you can call it politics if you like? Because this isn't about whether you are so far left that you are thinking maybe communism might work, or on the other side, and hold onto the Constitution in it's strictest form? It doesn't matter, because there is an unseen war that rages all around you, and they are fighting over your soul!
  Politics? Is Obama a Muslim? I don't know, and I don't care! But I can tell you what he's not? He's not a Christian, but he is not alone? The speech he made to the Godless throng at planned parenthood sealed his fate! But how many agree? How many think that the killing of the most innocent is OK? What flavor Christian do you say you are? A Catholic, or a Protestant? How in the name of all that is holy, do you claim the name Christian, and yet you stand with the murderers?

A Whole New Light

  So what is life anyway, and what is the meaning of it? We have all asked ourselves that, and most have also thought, What if I had never been born? And if I hadn't been, would I ever have known time? And if I wasn't, would there still be anything else? Go ahead, ask yourself, What is time to me, other then from which the time that I am aware of it? Or this one, If you agree that life is only relevant from the time from which you view it, isn't that the meaning of life? To be alive, for in death, time does not matter! Certainly, you can see this from a personal perspective? If you hadn't existed, for you, time would have never existed, for only in life can there be acknowledgement! Ask yourself questions like that if you dare, but is life relegated only to this point of refererence? Because if we view it only from this perspective, from this time called life, because life can only come from life, and that is the paradox! But again, if we had never existed, then for us, time would not have mattered, because for the dead, time has no meaning!
  Now let's consider this a little further? If you can begin to fathom time, you will begin to look upon the face of God, for only He is outside of time, God is Timeless! He knows the beginnig from the end, He has seen it all! But what is it that God would want from all of this, what is it that He has got to gain? When you consider things from his perspective, it puts a whole new light on it, doesn't it?

  Hawks circled overhead, and not far further out, the vultures waited their turn to clean up what was left. Down below, on the parched open ground, the danger had forced the Ostrich's head below again. Lately, it seemed with the least little stir, she would hide her head in the nearest hole! Always on the defensive it seemed, and she was almost always afraid! Scared that all were predators, and terrified of the meat eaters, she could find comfort in the hole from the world above ground? Since the recent death of her family, she had become all the more tenuous, as she realized, that she was one of the few still around. She had not always been like this. There had been a time, not too long ago, when she had trusted her speed, and could out run most of those who wanted to do her harm! Why once, she had even scared off a young lion with her pecks and wild flapping, but those days seemed so long ago? In the darkness of her hole, she thought to herself, I have fought the good fight, I have earned my right to hide now from it all, and here, I am safe?
  Meanwhile, above ground, the two boys took pictures of themselves with the carcass, and then, one of them said, Hey Johnnie! Do you still have those large shears in your truck? Yeah, I think so, why? I'll bet you, that we can walk right up on that stupid bird, and snip it's head clean off, and that it will do nothing to stop us! What do you think? Lets find out! I'll get them. And with that, the two men went about doing their dastardly deed! While below ground, Miss Ostrich dreamed of better times.
