Titanic on the Horizon

   The warring in the Ukraine is a  different type of war than has ever been fought. Our prayers should rise up not only for the Ukraine, but also for the Russian people. Because this is Not a war between two peoples, this is a war started and continued by one man, Vlad Putin. This is a war without a catalyst. In other words there was no Twin Towers, or the surprise air attack on the United States navy moored at Hawaii. As I look back on the majority of wars throughout history, I find no wars that started without a provocation of some kind, except for this one. There was no groundswell of indignant feelings from the Russian people, who suddenly had a yearning to acquire more real estate. This is not the war of the Russian people, this is Putin's war. One of, if not, the biggest reason that the Russian progress has been slow is because the Russian soldiers have little reason or desire to be fighting at all. Think of it, most probably, many are draftees, who'd much rather be anywhere else than where they find themselves. Many think, why fight and die, I have no hatred of the Ukrainian people, I'd much rather be home. Why should I risk my neck to fulfill the dreams of a madman? 

  Here at home we are forced only to suffer fools, and sit idly by as our nation is being humiliated in front of the entire world. We have become like a great ship filled with compassion and hope being run by a crew of idiots. A group so detached from reality, that as we are headed straight for a huge iceberg dead ahead on the horizon, that the Captain, quick to react with what he thinks is valor, yells, Damn the iceberg, full speed ahead! And as he speaks these words of defiance, the bridge officers jump, yell, and clap their approval. 

  As a citizen of this country, my biggest disappointment are of the everyday rank and file Democrats who remain obedient and are afraid to even change the channel once in a while to at least hear the other side. What is it they fear, an honest conversation as to who we want to be as a nation.? What happened to the party who through President Kennedy once stood toe to toe with the Russians, the stakes being a nuclear war. Now today's Democrats must find that spirit and breath life into it again. You Democrats are so obedient. On the other side, you tell us not to dare and get your news from whatever outlet, the first thing we'd do is tune to those channels. Any of us could watch CNN or MSNBC for a week, and we'd still know the truth. Be an American first, because America with the mistakes we've made as a country is still the greatest nation in world history, and we can and must be again. There is nothing that would make loosing our freedom worth it. We the people are the top managers of this Republic. We must stop this silly quarreling over trivial matters, we must come together as one nation again, if not for ourselves then for our children's children. If we don't, and soon, we may well be part of the last free nations. 

 

The Cost of Freedom

 Just hours ago, a madman threatened to use the "nuclear option" In other words he threatens the world with annihilation. What does he want, what did Hitler want. What did all the tyrants throughout history want? He wants what they all wanted, and as many have already said, if my goals were as self centered as his, now, that the US has become a disgrace, nows the time, while the cover of a world turned upside down, have most otherwise involved, nows the time to start to grow his empire. Putin and his not so willing army, did invade the Ukraine. But he grossly miscalculated, as do the pronoun clowns here, they don't understand the true raw power of Freedom. Through all of civilization's history, people have fought bled and dyed to remain free. It is inherent in all human beings, it's part of our DNA, we would sacrifice even our very lives to remain free. Once a slave is freed, he never wants to return. The soil in many nations has been bled red by the blood of young Americans who fought not to protect their own country, but Freedom knows no nationalities, Freedom is cherished by all.  

  And so the best example of Freedoms power is shown by this modern day David and Goliath. The smaller country of the Ukraine defending against Russia. Such an example of what a free people will do. President Zelenskyy is now the President of the free world. No matter the outcome, and of course every freedom loving human being is praying for you, you have shown the world that if you aren't free, life isn't worth living. Back in the day we Americans would say things like, Give me Liberty, or give me death. The point of all this is to alert those who get to read it, is to tell you that the world's upside down, and we are in dire straights. I do not believe we have the luxury to politely wait for three years to kick these clowns out of all government, we may not have three years. What if the madman pushes the button? No., we need real leadership, and we need it now! Impeach them, prosecute them, or someone issue a recall proposition so we can get these inept fools out of the way, before we all go up in smoke!

   As a man of God, and because I can do all things through Him who strengthens me, I am free to speculate in the realm of fiction, to try and answer the unanswerable. We now know where and how we got here, but what about our blessed Lord? 

  Watching what was written thousands of years ago, play out almost verbatim in this, our time. Do you at least realize that you are in the crosshair's of history? You are standing in the middle of an intersection, you stand at the crossroad of history. The fact that it was the Democrats who got snookered and helped bring this threat on us is irrelevant, it could very well have been the Republicans. So who is it you say, who stabs at us with daggers and is trying to kill us? 

  You don't know because this is a spiritual war, fresh off the pages of the bible. This country was founded by a very devote people, a group of Puritan Christians settled this land. A bunch of Puritan devotees, and yes most were Lilly white? But they brought with them something else, they brought with them the Holy Spirit. They brought with them a burning desire to be free, and to try a way of government never tried before, a government that served the people, a government unlike the one from which they fled where they lived only to serve the elite rich and the government they controlled. In this new government they proposed, held the voice of the people to be the highest authority, for these people answered to no one except God. It is with His teaching, that our most precious documents including the Constitution itself were crafted using the words of God. 

  Return to your foundation, for in it you will find salvation. These things must happen. Choose this day who you will serve, God the Father, or mammon.    

Epiphany

   There is no escaping politics, sadly, not even in our churches, it permeates every aspect of our lives. It is divisive, sinister and dangerous. But of course on the other hand, it is a necessary evil as in many ways, life in this world is politics. All of us jockey for position every day, call it "the I'm right your right" syndrome. But every day, we are trying to have our point of view accepted as the correct one, it's a form of politicking. So now the latest of the political story nation and world wide. 

  And so it is that we are told that there is another national holiday that should be proclaimed, or at least have a day of somber remembering, that day being January 6th. To those who look to divide us, we are to see it as the day of insurrection, the day when the deplorables looked to violently overthrow the government. This is the lie now that the propagandists spew. But believe it or not God lays claim to that same day, January the 6th is His. Now, how do I make such a claim? For that answer we'll turn to our old friend the Dictionary.

  Epiphany: A Christian festival revealing Jesus as the Christ to the Gentiles Who among you would write this fact off as mere coincidence? Amazing! I'm reminded of the scripture which says that what the world means for evil, He will turn it for good.  (a paraphrase, my apologies to you purists) So there are two ways you can remember that day, one is the ridiculous way of the propagandists, who are evil by nature, or as the day that we consider the reality of God and thank Him for being our King, and the foundation of this Republic. 

Christmas 2021

  If ever we needed the Spirit of Christmas in our lives, it is now. No matter your political perspective, or even if you could care less about politics, both sides of the divide agree that this country, our home, is in a lot of trouble. People are afraid. For most, it's the first time they considered their mortality. People are frightened, whether it be the latest flu variant, or the ongoing political coup which is a danger to us all. The answer and remedy to all of this is what it has always been, return to our roots, return to God. The path to knowing Him is easier than you might think. 

  For instance, if you think of yourself as a logical person, start by using common sense. Common sense and logic walk hand and hand with truth. Common sense springs forth from logic. What is true is always logical, and what is logical is always true. God is logic, as logical orderly thinking is His way. The Lord's logic is always correct, He is never wrong. 

  So, maybe your fretting over the next flu bug, or perhaps you're more concerned that goose stepping Nazis are just around the corner, what do you do? Well, to quote an old bumper sticker, Jesus is the reason for the Season, is true. Afterall, it's His birthday we celebrate. How about giving Jesus a present? He is certainly due your consideration. God is real, He lives, He is the source of it all, without Him there is nothing. He is the Great I am, He is the Creator. If you care enough to do a little research and you should, you'll find over and over again that the living God exists, and that He is the answer to the question "why are we here". You have been trained your whole life that God and Science are mutually exclusive, they are not. PHD's in all the different sciences and disciplines,  and more each day, come to believe in creation. Not only are God and science compatible, but one verifies the other. When you consider the intricacies of the human body, or the perfect order that the cosmos is, and how any deviation from that order would effect not only life on this planet, but how the celestial bodies keep from crashing into one another. There is no way those things are mere circumstance, such perfect order can only exist if made by intelligent design, a Creator. God is that creator. 

  Again, if you really want things to change for the better both long term and short, Pray. Humble yourself and pray that God save us from ourselves. America's foundation started by entering into a covenant with God the government rests on His shoulders, all of our founding documents are based on scripture, the words of God found in the Bible. If we are to save our nation, we must return to our roots, our foundation, we must return to God. All things are possible with God, it's perfectly logical, we must repent as a nation (go 180 degrees in the other direction), and pray the Lord forgive us and save us. Merry Christmas.     

Happy Thanksgiving

   WE have a special reason to give thanks and to celebrate the greatness of our country. All in about a week, two important trials ended today, and reinforced that we are indeed a just nation. Today America kicked the dirt from her shoes, and peeled the filth of the critical race theory off her shoe's sole. Justice in this country is alive and well, thank you very much. Young Mr. Rittenhouse was found innocent completely approximately a week ago, and just today, a racist father and his two boys were found guilty of the murder of a young black man. 

  Rejoice America, and give thanks that all the vile lies about this country and her people have been laid naked and ashamed. We may argue, and we may get mad at a situation, but if not to ourselves, to most all of the world, we still are that shining city on the hill. Give thanks because we are still free, and even though certain elites may scoff at your patriotism, pay them no mind for they are the fools and the mindless followers. The two pronged attack of this current spiritual war will pass, hopefully we will learn a great lesson from this our time in history. All of us are a living part of the history we make, and you are seeing it in real time. These current problem/problems will pass, so in the short run we are still fine. Long term? Now thats a different matter all together. This unseen war, one of microscopic size, and this threatening socialist/communist takeover attempt are both invisible to the naked eye. One a germ seen only via high powered microscopes, and the other a failed ideology. Both are invisible, and both are very much part of this spiritual war that is at the heart of all this trouble. 

  Because it is of spiritual nature, it must be spiritually fought. This country has long ago, a subtle bit by bit, grown further from the rock of our foundation grown further from the God we were founded on. Our current problems will pass, but as for our long time prognosis, not so good. Globalism is the goal, socialism is the type of government intended to make all nations one, and to have everyone sing about buying each other a coke. But that is only a dream for a false heaven on earth. There is only one Heaven, and it is not on the earth. As for America, we choose to keep our sovereignty thank you, we choose freedom over tyranny. 

  Long range, we know from the book of truth, the bible, that more will choose the easy road, the wide one. The goal, and hopefully the prayer around every families table is to return to our founding documents, but mostly, to return to the rock of our foundations, and the only King we Americans will bend a knee to, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  Happy Thanksgiving  

Three of Three

  Words, is there anything more long lasting and powerful than words. At the heart of this on going bloodless coup are words, language and its use. Also, how words are used and who decides what can and cannot be spoken. People such as these are enemies of the state. The perpetrators logic being, If we can stop certain types of speech, eventually their meaning and importance will soon be forgotten, and replaced with thoughts and words more acceptable to their selfish ideology. 

  Strangely, albeit for noble enough reasons, it was the women's movement who first berthed an acceptable change to the American lexicon. Less than three generations ago, when properly addressing a letter or formal document, the prefixes of Mr. or Mrs. were used for adult men and women. Master and Miss for unmarried boy and girl children. The problem was that Mr. meant adult male, married or single, where as Mrs. designated a married female, and Miss an unmarried girl. Having four daughters, I understand them not wanting to advertise their personal life and marital status via a prefix. Hence the new designation and prefix Mz. From this minor change, however logical and fair, people realized that words and their use could bring about change. Dictators like Karl Marx saw it more as the early steps necessary to usher in political change. This of course was picked up as a weapon and the advent of Politically Correct speech was born. 

  But PC speak barely moved the dial of public opinion, and the free among us understood quickly about the inherit danger in such control and quickly exposed it as the joke that it was. Now, only fools and the sheep type people who would rather be led, follow after that stupidity. Clearly, something else more powerful was necessary. Fear is a powerful motivator, and as if a gift from their god was given them, cue the corona/covid debacle. The seemingly humble beginnings of PC speak morphed into the Woke movement, which begot the Cancel culture and where we are today. Thankfully, people in professional sport, singers, writers, and people in all forms of the entertainment industry are speaking up against this very vocal minority who hate this country and the freedom it offers to all its citizens. Out of shear arrogance these kooks actually believe themselves to be the smartest among us all. They're not of course, because who else but fools and buffoons are scared to death of freedom and truth. How do we true Americans who love this country and appreciate all that she has given us get rid of these haters? It's way past time to wake up the woke crowd? In the up coming elections vote to truly wake the woke, and cancel the cancelers. 

And of course to bring about a lasting change for the better means returning to our historical roots. This country was founded by people seeking a new beginning, a place where they could worship God in safety, and free themselves from a personally intrusive government. We the people means just that, We will decide what is best for ourselves and for the country we love. Again, God waits for this country to take up His free offer. All we need do is acknowledge Him and pray to Him, and He will heal this land. Indeed, the whole world.
