Three of Three

  Words, is there anything more long lasting and powerful than words. At the heart of this on going bloodless coup are words, language and its use. Also, how words are used and who decides what can and cannot be spoken. People such as these are enemies of the state. The perpetrators logic being, If we can stop certain types of speech, eventually their meaning and importance will soon be forgotten, and replaced with thoughts and words more acceptable to their selfish ideology. 

  Strangely, albeit for noble enough reasons, it was the women's movement who first berthed an acceptable change to the American lexicon. Less than three generations ago, when properly addressing a letter or formal document, the prefixes of Mr. or Mrs. were used for adult men and women. Master and Miss for unmarried boy and girl children. The problem was that Mr. meant adult male, married or single, where as Mrs. designated a married female, and Miss an unmarried girl. Having four daughters, I understand them not wanting to advertise their personal life and marital status via a prefix. Hence the new designation and prefix Mz. From this minor change, however logical and fair, people realized that words and their use could bring about change. Dictators like Karl Marx saw it more as the early steps necessary to usher in political change. This of course was picked up as a weapon and the advent of Politically Correct speech was born. 

  But PC speak barely moved the dial of public opinion, and the free among us understood quickly about the inherit danger in such control and quickly exposed it as the joke that it was. Now, only fools and the sheep type people who would rather be led, follow after that stupidity. Clearly, something else more powerful was necessary. Fear is a powerful motivator, and as if a gift from their god was given them, cue the corona/covid debacle. The seemingly humble beginnings of PC speak morphed into the Woke movement, which begot the Cancel culture and where we are today. Thankfully, people in professional sport, singers, writers, and people in all forms of the entertainment industry are speaking up against this very vocal minority who hate this country and the freedom it offers to all its citizens. Out of shear arrogance these kooks actually believe themselves to be the smartest among us all. They're not of course, because who else but fools and buffoons are scared to death of freedom and truth. How do we true Americans who love this country and appreciate all that she has given us get rid of these haters? It's way past time to wake up the woke crowd? In the up coming elections vote to truly wake the woke, and cancel the cancelers. 

And of course to bring about a lasting change for the better means returning to our historical roots. This country was founded by people seeking a new beginning, a place where they could worship God in safety, and free themselves from a personally intrusive government. We the people means just that, We will decide what is best for ourselves and for the country we love. Again, God waits for this country to take up His free offer. All we need do is acknowledge Him and pray to Him, and He will heal this land. Indeed, the whole world.

        

Mission Accomplished 2-3

    Picking up from where we left off, I should explain for those unfamiliar with scripture, the repeat of what Jeremiah warned ancient Israel about, and its rejection of those warnings, leading to the total defeat of Israel, doesn't forecast our doom at this time. This prophecy is not yet near to coming true for America at this time. Bible prophecy unlike others, must be 100% true, any less, and it is rejected as false teaching. We are headed for a final judgement called the Tribulation, but although these are times of great stress and it is a time of tribulation, it is Not the tribulation that will befall humanity at the end of this age. Much must occur before life's final act as told in the book of Revelation occurs. For one thing, the serious followers of Jesus Christ must be removed before this final judgement occurs. This removal of God's people is called the Rapture. How will you know it happened? Many people will suddenly disappear, as they will be taken up to be with Lord Jesus, therefore missing the seven bowls of judgement that will be poured out onto the earth. 

  But leaving biblical prophecy to be studied and learned from by those who seek truth behind for now. And lets' concentrate on the immediate future, and what we as a people can do to combat this two pronged attack against our nation. We still have that nasty flu/virus to deal with, complicated by the fact that like everything else, there are those who seek to weaponize it and separate us for political gain. As for the onslaught of the new socialist/communist agenda, which believe it or not has just been made worse as Biden surrendered to the Taliban, by heeding their red line and refusing to extend the 8/31 deadline to get Americans and our allies out of Afghanistan, home of the new caliphate. The greatest power in the known world just buckled to the threat of evil religious fanatics. 

  Now is the time to come together as one. No longer should it matter if you are a Republican or a Democrat, progressive or conservative, we must be as one people. This is not the time to point fingers and gloat saying things like, See, I told you so. But rather, each one of us must become Americans first, and whatever party or group you identify with second. Forgive me if I am repeating myself, but keep in mind the basic truths that surely you've heard before, as in, A nation divided against itself cannot stand, and again, United we stand, divided we fall. Maybe once before in our history have things been so serious and dangerous, that being the Civil War. Thankfully it hasn't gotten that far yet, but could it happen? Before you answer, think to yourself, If someone was to tell you that the United States of America was going to surrender to a third world country, you would have said, No, that could never happen. Come together America, we will live or die together. And as for how an entire country can repent and begin to return to our God, a good start would be to stop being the world's number one baby killer. 

Mission Accomplished 1-

   The debacle in Afghanistan brings with it, the twentieth anniversary of the planned evil against America, which began some twenty years ago on Sept. 11, 2001. You could say that Afghanistan brought it full circle, because as with all things, history is cyclical. That is the main reason that we study history, because again, Those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it. You've probably heard the term that, What comes around goes around, and so the successful culmination of that evil plan hatched 20 years ago comes to fruition in a few days. The objective in 2001 was not just to knock down a couple of buildings, but rather to strike America at her heart and to humiliate her on the world stage. The original attacks in NYC, Washington D.C. and the horror of Shanksville Pa. was a hard blow and it set us reeling for a while. But we came back defiantly, built a new tower, and killed most if not all of those who perpetrated those crimes. It took twenty years before the Islamist terrorists could celebrate the victory they so wanted. To humiliate this great nation. And thanks to this current administration's blunders, ineptness, and outright stupidity, for the Taliban and their friends, its Mission Accomplished. So now what? 

  Not surprisingly, the answer is right there in world history. Thousands of years ago, Israel had the same problem, and for the same reason. We have ignored God until He has become a punchline. If you want to see the future if things go on unchanged, read the prophet Jeremiah in the bible. People are people, and the ancient Hebrews were all about self and selfish pleasures, just as we have become. They were warned about worshiping self and other idols, and breaking the first commandment. But like us, they would not listen. Of all their idols and gods, one called Baal, ( essence of evil), was the most important god, the one who they gave their children for, to be sacrificed by burning on the alters of Baal. As for us, we may not burn the children, but we lead the world in abortions and the harvesting of baby limbs, organs as such. Sold on the open market like so much beef. To think that we mirror the ancient Jews, hopefully doesn't mean that we are forced to the same end, being beaten as a country so completely, that Israel's people were taken to Babylon as slaves. We, like them, are so far ignoring the warnings from both Sept. 11th attacks, and an endless stream of atrocities that go on to this day. The saving answer then is the same one as now. Because this so clearly is a spiritual war, it must be fought spiritually as well as physically. and as with the ancient Hebrews, God offers to save us from ourselves by promising, If My people will humble themselves and...   

Ancient Highway

   Ah music, Lately I have been seeing a lot of scenes with lonely stretches of highway, railroad tracks and the like. Not in the way of a vision, but rather by natural means, as on my PC, TV and the like. I noticed them of course, and took note to the rapidity of such scenes. But I view them more as road signs on the highway of life. I knew they were there for direction, a way to go for peace. A way to go, a way to escape the tedium. I look back on my life in a metaphorical perspective, I have always envisioned my life as a constant move down a river, sometimes in a boat, sometimes holding onto a log, sometimes just treading water. All I've ever done is left behind in my wake. But be it a highway, a railroad track, or a river, we all head downstream with the current, what's behind and in our wake we leave behind, but what's ahead very few know, but move we must, ever on to the end that it is. It is that way on the river of life. And now a change of mood. 

  I actually linked my PC, Phone and TV all together on Youtube. I know, to most of you you say, So? But for this 20th century man, thats like winning an emmy. As Joe Friday once said,  

The facts mam, nothing but the facts." The ancient Highway connection comes from an old Van Morrison song, which as explained, this is one step further, into whats hi-tech to me, and is a reason to be happy.  Oh, and a shout out to my friend Walt who was teaching me how the sound board works. What Was

  Wouldn't it be just like the Lord to say to himself, If that's what they want I'll give it to them in one quick solid dose. Perhaps that's what happened, or why. But whatever the reasoning, in what seemed to me as fast as a snapped finger, what was once left is now right, what was up is now down, what once was good is fast becoming bad, and as for wrong, the law? spin the wheel it's anybody's guess. What was once good and honorable, becomes some how, now, to be wrong. Everything is backwards, flung up in the air and landing upside down.  

  So, living in an upside down world, how do you adjust to such things? Even prison can come to be accepted as home if you let it. As for myself, I find It funny. I mean it's so stupid! Anyway, otherwise if I didn't laugh at it, it's so sad I'd probably cry? nah.. It's true though, if you can't laugh you'll loose your mind. Life is hard, and we need comic relief. A humorless life is a dull life, but going along to get along is not the answer. It can be confusing in an upside down world, but before you go marching off in the wrong direction, there is something you should know. Changes this drastic and done so quickly is beyond the plotting of mere men, this war we fight is not physical, and we can thank God for that. It has at times spilled out and our cities lit on fire, but so far we have not considered a replay of the Civil War. Did you know that more American soldiers died in that war than in all the other's combined? It's true.  

  I knew there was more to this, because I had There's something you're forgetting on my mind until I turned back from the printer to finish the letter. But the one thing more you might consider is by far the most important. Because this is a spiritual war, it must be fought spiritually. We are all caught up in it. It doesn't matter whether you believe it or not, the truth must be served. If we are to survive, we as one nation under God must return to our roots. I'm not gonna get preachy on you except to quote a line from an old song. You're gonna have to serve somebody.

These Spiritual Realities

   John, not the Baptist, but John of Patmos, spoke of the importance of the word in his the telling of the Genesis account. The most telling is his calling the word God. But how can a word be God? Because words as with all things spiritual are unseen, and, once written or spoken are eternal. In reality there are two lives we live right now. One is the physical, the flesh and blood self that bleeds when you cut it. This runs parallel with our spiritual selves beginning at the moment of birth, running with and along side of our eternal self until the moment of our physical death. The physical body rots away eventually returning ashes from ashes. But what of our eternal self, our spiritual self, what is to become of that? That is a hard question, and many factors come into play. If life eternal is a lie, then all that we were in this world lies in the dirt with which your body was buried. Hopefully you'll become a good fertilizer for some nice flowers? But life like death is eternal, so the question remains as to what is to become of us once our spirit leaves our rotting bodies behind? I think the answer lies in what or in who we chose to follow, and in what we put our trust. What was our foundation constructed of, was our base for security placed on other people's thoughts and opinions, or are we so self important that we thought of ourselves as our god? No matter your political views, many people are afraid and feel lost and alone, and by just looking at our current reality, who can blame them? To whom or on what do you turn to when your fears become reality? 

  As for myself, my biggest fear is for my grandchildren, that they will be governed by an administration who knowingly or not is in the infancy stage of all out tyranny. For you it may be the fear of death from the Corona virus. Both are huge problems, made worse of course by a media whose bottom line grows by their stoking the fire of those fears. It is at times like these that we must admit that there is no remedy from men that can solve this. The problems are just too large, and for some, that fear has grown to the feeling of helplessness. And we know that the cure for this two pronged dilemma is beyond what we can solve. What then? God waits, His promise still valid as spoken when He said, If my people will humble themselves and pray to me, I will heal their land. Trust God, for He is like solid granite, and on this base you can stand safely against any and all adversaries. Though the storm may rage all around you, you are safe, safe in the safest place there is, safe with God. What will it take, how much more has to happen before you first, recognize him, and two choose to go with him and follow Jesus. The only way to live in the eternal realm is to be where God is, and the only way to get there is through His son, Jesus Christ.
