I had a strange occurrence happen when I finally got the power to my computer? I was taken back to my old blog called, Wisdomquest? And I saw there, that it had gotten over 36,000 views? I was truly amazed by this, as I thought to myself, What measure of success is this? Because as everyone knows, success in this life, is measured in monetary means, and strangely, I have not made a dime from my writing?
Now I am not naive to the fact that that someone is making money from it, probably, a lot of money, which would be Ok, if only I could get my fair share? I used to wonder, how in different songs, the singer would talk about how he was not getting his, and why, someone else took the Lion's share? But I wonder how those lyrics would go, if the band received nothing at all? Certainly, it would have to be done in a bluesey fashion, though this wasn't necessarily so?
But then I listened to this song, and figured that I would write this, and play the song, as an accompaniment? It is my way to present a multi media event? Pictures in a gallery, memories strewn upon a desk! Who will take the truth and run with it? Hard times will come, of this you can be sure! But don't let them scare you, because only by embracing them, can you ever hope to understand them?
