The Winds of Change

They come whistling through the trees, and they can chill you to the bone! For these are ill winds, and they have cast a pall across the land! They speak only lies, and they chill, to stamp out the warmth of truth! It is at times like these, when the people of God, must huddle together.
The warmth of the Lord will comfort us, though still, we must exit this comfy enclave. For out in the world is where the harvest is, and so, each one of us, is called to venture out into the cold, assured, that we can weather the storm!
This is what God intended, for He said, Like lambs to the slaughter! But we should have no fear, as it is He who commanded that we walk among them. If you stay only in your houses, or if you are content to stay cloistered in your village, what good does it do you? Or more importantly, what good does it do Him? You are called to be among them, so that they can see what a child of God looks like?
Does that mean that you are called to be perfect? No, of course not, but you are called to be honest! Be who you are, and join the others, wherever they are at! Be assured, that when you join them, that there is no danger of them changing you, but, the hope is, that you will change them. You will find, that they will be drawn to you like a moth to a flame, these are the ones who still have hope, but for those who fear you, for them, all hope is lost!
