No Day at the Beach

My wife and I went out early this morning to watch our youngest grand daughter run in the cross country event for her elementary school. It was a beautiful day, a little chilly early on, but by the time her event came around, people were shedding their sweat shirts and jackets. All the kids from all of the competing schools were exited, and it was just a great place to be. At the starting point, all of the parents and fans were yelling encouragement to their athlete. We too yelled to my little sweetheart Emma, and then walked around the field to where the finishing line was. About nine minutes later, the first girl through, who won the race came past us. At this point I yelled to her while clapping, Great job Sweetheart! Looking up and across to the people behind the opposite yellow rope, I got some very unhappy looks. Not from women as you might think, but from men.  I knew immediately, that I had broken one of the cardinal rules of correct political speak. Our Emma finished a little over 11 minutes. Not bad. Anyway, I turned to my daughter in law and asked about my transgression. She just smiled and said, It could have been worse had I called her Hon or Honey.

Later out in the parking lot as we were saying good bye to my son and his family, my daughter in law and I expanded on my blunder at the race. I asked what was proper, and we discussed options. At first I thought, C'mon human being!, but that couldn't do because the word man was part of human. For those of you who know me personally, you know that my first instinct is to intentionally aggravate those who have embraced this new religion, whose orthodoxy and general rules of dos and don'ts,  are created by those who look to install a new morality. A morality based primarily on the mind set that our current morality which is based in the ten commandments, given to mankind by God the Father, were in conflict with our constitution? This of course is ridiculous, as God gave us only ten rules. While the godless orthodoxy of the men and women who embrace this PC ideology, have literally thousands of rules which change more every day. This lack of a strong base and no foundation is frustrating to put it mildly, and is why so many take longer to answer a simple question, as they need to be sure to filter what they say. Make no mistake, PC speak has two primary goals. The first is to remove any religion but there's from the public discourse, and the other is to interfere with, and eventually to stop free speech.  This godless new religion is being taught to our children in public schools from kindergarten, right on through high school. If this doesn't bother you as a parent, it should. Luckily, my son's kids go to Catholic school and are spared the propaganda now being forced on our children by the Marxist left.

Oh, and as to my little problem with how to cheer on the kids. I settled on the word entity. This shouldn't insult anyone. It may sound a bit strange yelling, C'mon entity, but on the bright side, its still better than calling them all Purple Pandas. That was actually tried in a school some time ago. That bit of silliness comes from the gay community, who thought that calling girls girls, and boys boys was  dangerous. The left is easily terrified by the obvious and the truth. A sad reality of the PC religion that they helped to create.

America,

Now that political correctness and the politics of division have taken away the game we love from the professional ranks, what is left to do but to watch them choose to leave? The line that is being scratched in the sand, has been drawn by Roger Goodell, though Roger is not the problem. He is only a pawn of the propagandists who tell him what to do and what is proper to think. Roger and his fellow knee takers should be felt sorry for, because they are only sheep in a game they don't understand.

He and the rest of the mesmerized drones, carry out the will of the socialist/globalist agenda. The leaders of this hopeless cause are the fools who actually believe that this new world order can become the man made utopia they dream of. Psst, hey fellas, we can't even get along in our own country, and you think that a centralized global leader is the answer? Whatever Kool Aid you're drinking, please keep it all for yourself.

As for my part, I would rather die then see the United States of America become the socialist state of America. There is nothing like the good ole U.S.A., it sounds good to me as it does with most Americans, no matter their political stripe. And now that one sport has been stolen from us by those who find us deplorable and wish us harm, we turn to America's game, and in this current time of playoff, the game has never shined brighter. As pro Football struggles to ride the wave of politics, Baseball has become our only refuge from the ugliness and lies of the division which looks to divide us. For those of you who don't follow the game, there are now only three teams left to decide the World Series champion. The L.A. Dodgers won the National league title, and they wait for the winner of the Yankees/Astros series for the American league representative. Though Houston is the sentimental favorite because of the great flood they have gone through, I remember when after the original 9/11, the Yankees too were the sentimental favorite, as even long time Yankee haters found themselves pulling for the team. But it was not to be. Having said all that, I am rooting for a right coast vs. left coast series. East against West, two teams as far from each other as they can be, it makes one hell of a metaphor for where we are now as a country.

And now that football has rejected Colin Kapernek to lead it, Al Sharpton and some Congress woman who looks like a female pimp are given the baton, and they are to lead the parade. Why are so many minorities so fooled that they follow fools such as these? Where are the true champions to replace the great Martin Luther King? Racism? Um, this may come as a surprise to you two morons, but the country elected a man of color as President, and the nation's top cop as well as most other cabinet jobs were filled by blacks. And you call us racist? You are the racist, as you look to drag us back into the past when separate but equal was the law. So go ahead you most ugly of couples, go and lead you're parade of bigotry and ignorance. I think you'll find that more will not follow you then will. Because we the people see no such problem other than isolated cases. Out here in the real world, we all get along fine. Even though you'll dismiss me with the false claim of white privilege, a moniker dreamed up by the left's propaganda machine, lets get back to the purity of sport, shall we? I'm a life long Yankee fan and my two favorite players are both black. Does that count?

Symphony

And so it was, I sat and watched as the white puffed clouds rolled by in a crystal clear day. It is at this point, that the power hit me again. The power of God hit me like a thunderbolt from above. A diamond bullet right between the eyes.

I had not felt the full power of the Spirit in such a long time. It was a welcome awakening, because it brought with it a confidence to my bones. It was a moment of extreme peace, a calm as like a flat lake. I was renewed and confident and it felt good.

My country and my people saith the Lord, I love you so dearly and yet you resist me, and you will not listen. Listen, the Holy Bible is a living document, did you think that meant to stop? It goes on through me, for I am a living document for the truth of God.

A stewart, nothing more is what I am, for I am just the messenger. For a new chapter is being written to add to the ancient book, and we are all living it, Yes, a new chapter is being written, and you are all part of it because it happens in this our time, so you see my friend, like it or not, you are living it.

Part and Parcel

What is peace? Isn't it to be free from worry? I mean when you get right down to it, it really is simple isn't it? Free of worry about the silly things like how your hair looks, right on up those matters of importance, including the impending death of someone you love. Worry enters life is is a part of everyones life, every moment of every day, worry is a human condition.

Yeah, and as for me, I've decided, peace is being free from worry. Imagine no worries, no wondering how we are to pay this months bills, worries about all kinds of things., and they can come at you at any moment. Bits of insecurity have a way of appearing at the most impromptu and unwelcome time. Unlike our animal friends, you can see it as a blessing, or you might consider it a curse? Depending on your perception at that moment.

Now here is the point that I am trying to make, True peace, complete peace, no worry of any kind forever, The place I'm talking about of course, is Heaven. One of the many great blessings in heaven is eternal peace. And because you have eons of time to consider the truths about all things. You can only do it with a clean heart, one without worry.

You see, life like the other side of death is eternal. Most of you will reject this, because it is written in the book of Life. I'm not much of a math guy, so figuring the odds, what will be the ratio? 10%, 15%, who knows for sure. But what we do know is, that by way of the mob, is to choose to ignore the Living God of us all. I can't understand it? They make fun of our simple faith, when in reality, it takes a million times more faith to believe in nothing, (evolution), than it does to believe in a superior intellect. Evolution occurs as knowledge increases, and again, thats what separates us from the animals.

One nation under God

God I love this country, and I am saddened deeply by what I see. I see a people who are moving towards doing what no nation on earth could dream of doing, and that is to destroy this great land. A house divided cannot stand, you have probably heard that somewhere before. We are busy eating ourselves alive, while outside our borders,  death and mayhem are everywhere. As for the prophetic side of things, I have been so saddened, that I went to see how a similar event in history compared to this our time. I went to the book of Jeremiah in the bible. Jeremiah was known as the weeping prophet because, he cried because of what was going to happen to his nation and their people if they did not turn from the way they were going. He cried because the Lord had told him, that if they didn't heed the warnings that he gave them from Him, that not only would the nation fall, but all of it's people would be taken off to Babylon, with most to be used as slaves. Not only did the people ignore his warnings, but they also ridiculed him also, and that couldn't have felt too good.

As for myself, I'm not a cryer, I get mad at the situation. The hardest part to except of the Serenity Prayer is excepting the things you can't change. This weekend in Boston, I saw a glimmer of hope, as even though there were a few instances where the the morons turned to violence, for the most part, it was a peaceful demonstration from both sides. Who knows, maybe a common respect and dialogue will begin?

This country must come together, we must learn to agree to disagree at times, but also to put away all thoughts of violence. It is not news to any of you that the world is a very dangerous place. We, all of us, no matter our political views must come together as one people again. Because if we choose to remain stubborn, and choose instead to embrace the ways of division, I just can't help but wonder who our Babylon will be?

We The People

Just think of the power of those three words. They are so simple that they are interchangeable in any order, and the meaning is still the same, It is about us, we are the people that the Constitution talks about. . Our representatives in Washington are supposed to do what we tell them. We the people have the true power, not them! and some how, this has become reversed. Our power is diminished when we are no longer one people. Like him or hate him, you must admit that Donald Trump being elected president is by far and away the greatest political upset in American politics, perhaps the world? Everyone, myself included for a while, didn't take him seriously, and certainly thought he'd have no chance against the old Chicago regime, who had promised Hillary that it was her turn. Certainly all of the elitists looked upon it as a joke, The sheep like press reporting on the certainty they gained from those they worship. Have you noticed that lately the star power for those who look to stand up for the left has reached the bottom of the barrel?

Rosie O'Donald, Lena Dunham, Who? They are egg plants. If you were to join their brains, you couldn't run a forty watt bulb for more than three seconds. The people I really worry about are those who are stupid enough to listen to these two morons. Check it out kids, its only a publicity stunt, done for clicks, done to become relevant again. Trust me on this, when it comes to their kind, wisdom is far from them, it scares them, because wisdom is full of truth. It isn't really their fault, these kids who actually believe this tripe, they have been programmed from their youth. I'll give you a personal story that will prove how our children can become so dumb. The wife and I went to a Winter recess play. Winter recess, it used to be called the Christmas holiday, for you old timers out there. The play in which the children sung of course, did not have one true Holliday song in it. I mean I could see possibly leaving Oh Holy Night out, but no Jingle bells, no Rudolf the red nosed reindeer? Disgusted, I left the auditorium to walk the halls of the elementary school. Posters everywhere, but about things like, the proper foods to eat, tons of ones about bullying, all that was missing were the warning signs to obey. Not a Christmas tree or a snowman to be found. There was no warmth in these halls, they were stark, to be honest, it scared me. I thought to myself, not only have they taken Christ out of Christmas, but my grand children were being brain washed.

I got ahead of myself here, so let me make the point short. By electing Donald Trump when so much was against him is an historic moment. Know why? Because we, the people, remember us? We came to the ballot box and voted for him. He waded through seventeen professional politicians, somewhat rudely at times, but he beat them all. Then he takes on the sure winner, the next in line as decided by the elitists, Hillary. and he made her look like a fool. What happened, they screamed, how can this be?!? It was the true power exerting itself. It was us, the People. They work from both sides now to divide us. Want to know another power you have? This one is about business. As consumers, each time we choose one product over another, we voting for the company that made that product. TV ratings is what drives advertising prices, and that is how these networks make their money. If they offer nothing but the beliefs of the left, change the channel! Power to the people, because that is what our form of government is for. Not to give over our individual freedom to any King or Queen, and certainly not from a bunch of snobby elitists, who probably have not done an honest day's work in years. In a way I feel sorry for them, as they too are like sheep, they too must toe the line, thats why most of them haven't had an original thought it years.

Confessions of a Male Chauvinist

So a funny thing happened to me on my way to the pools. The 2008 one is the one I'm thinking of. I've told you in the past that I voted for Barack Obama, but that is only half true. I voted for him in the primary for two basic reasons. First, Hillary I knew was bad news, as she has been around forever. In fact, I knew that Hillary left more than just bad press clippings in her wake, but also a few dead bodies. Besides that bit of reasoning, I thought that the election of a white woman before a black man, would be the final slap in the face to the black community in general, and to black men in particular.

But in the general election, I voted for McCain, even though he didn't have a chance. I knew it for sure when team Obama was complaining about the way that the McCain team was unfairly accusing Mr. Obama of being inexperienced and very weak on national defense. Ultimately, team McCain did in fact soften on Obama's weak kneed approach to all things military. I knew then that he would lose.   Now fast forward to today. In today's climate of victimhood, surely such thinking would have made the radical left feminists to label me as a sexist. But ladies please, call me a male chauvinist, hell, I admit that, but a sexist? It sounds so violent.

What brought all this to mind was that I had put up a musical post from Van Morrison's album, The Philosopher's Stone. But I took it down this morning because get this, PC speak had gotten me too! I am duly ashamed of myself, but there you have it. It was afterall, Father's day, and so the piece was decidedly masculine. I can't remember most of it, but I touched on what it means to be a man, and the responsibility that comes with it.  Obviously, I think very few if any, would disagree that the absence of a father in a family is devastating, it was one of the greatest ills in our society. Boys who are raised without a dad or a solid male role model are ten times more likely to get in trouble than those boys with a father. While thinking of a way to close this one out, I thought about the young men and boys who didn't have that influence in their lives.  But then at the end, it got personal for me, as in my mind I was speaking to one young man who some of you might know if I were to name him, but I won't. I said to this young man that even though he is convinced that he doesn't have a father, he does. A father who loves him and cares about his life. I said to him, Don't worry son, you have a dad. Now of course I include girls and young women also, in short, all children need fathers. And to you young men out there. It doesn't take a man to make a baby, it takes a man to raise that son or daughter.
