Entity

Time is something that affects all of us, something always with us, and often times on our mind. If you were asked to explain time, what would you say? What would you say that time is in its purest sense? Time for us is best imagined when fragmented into portions of six. There are six seconds to a minute, 60 minutes to an hour, twenty four hours in an official day, so on and so forth.

Then of course there is micro time, when we break seconds into hundreds and thousandth sizes. Just those fractions of seconds separate winners from losers in racing. In scientific endeavors, time and movement are recorded in micro seconds and smaller. Time and speed are linked, there would be no way to measure speed without time. But before we go running off with accolades for our system of six, we must first acknowledge it as our base of six has served us well.

Such is the reality of time when bound to this earth, but what of time beyond the limitations of earth? Would our system of six work well out on the perimeters of space? How do you measure speed or time when outside those boundaries?

To answer that, you will have to consider an Entity outside of both time and space as we know it. Have you got that vision in mind, can you now fathom the depths of untold knowledge and wisdom with that Entity? That which you now see in understanding is our God, God, God the only God, God of God, very God, completely God.

Time He says, "There is no time without Me"!

Parables and Metaphors,

I call this fun with the dictionary. I pick two similar words and compare them to each other. Today being a Friday, let's go with two words used a lot lately in everyday speech. The two contestants are, Parable and Metaphor, what is the difference? And, in the form of a caveat, should you care? So we go first to our dictionary, and find the word Metaphor. Turns out that a metaphor can be a word or a short sentence, a figure of speech in which one thing is spoken of as if it were another. The word metaphor comes right before the word metaphysical and followed closely by metaphysics. The grouping ends with the next word after metaphysics, that being, Metastasis which is about cancer, so we'll close on that bummer. Next of course is our old friend Parable.

Though similar to a metaphor which is always a short reference, a Parable is a story. A short simple story teaching a moral lesson. Directly following our word parable is the word parabola, which has to do with math, (a curve formed by the intersection of a cone with a plane parallel to the side.) I find this fascinating, though I don't know why. Now if math is too much for you, not to worry, because the next word is parachute so you can always parachute your way out. After your feet are back firmly on the ground you can go and enjoy the Parade which is our next word. Next in alphabetical order is paradigm which is an example of a declination or conjugation, giving all inflections of the word. Last on our list of follow-up words to Parable. Quick note, Jesus spoke often in Parables. Last but certainly not least is the great word Paradise, Heaven, any place or state of great happiness.

21st Century Martyr

Charles Kirk is and will forever be remembered as an American hero, because when it comes to love of God and family and country, the man stands alone. Though millions are being murdered world wide for their faith in Jesus, Charlie will surely become known throughout American and possibly world history, as the first 21st Century Martyr. Christian people and decent human beings of all stripes recognize greatness. Someone once said that politics is downstream from culture, and that is true here also, But Charles was downstream from our God and His culture.

He died for his faith in God. Killed by those with no moral consciousness what soever. Evil people, they see nor care for anything or anyone other than themselves. They are just the kind of people the Devil loves! Dumb as steel posts and filled easily with hate. If Charlie was here with us now, he would wholeheartedly agree of the parallels between his situation now in this century, and of the people group from back in the first century. Jesus spoke these words as recorded in the book of Matthew, chapter 12, verses 18 and 19. Listen to Jesus' word recorded in the first century:

Behold! My Servant whom I have chosen, my beloved in whom I have chosen. My beloved in whom I am well pleased! I will put My Spirit upon Him, and He will declare justice to all. He will not quarrel or cry out." No greater legacy can a man leave than to have his or her life compared to the life of Jesus. So Charlie spoke the truth about God and so they hated him, but he also spoke of the truth of reality, he was that lone reed. People fear the truth, and so he was killed by evil people disguised as humans. But these are the actual walking dead. Charlie spoke the truth, and truth is of God, so they killed him for it. Truth is solid like granite, it will never be moved. But the forces of evil might have gone too far. Charlie's Spirit is so much bigger now than it was. The glee at slaughter shown by some is demonic. I may not like the loons of the Marxist left but I wouldn't celebrate their murder. Evil is so obvious now, surely you see it? Resist it.

Soon Forgotten

Understanding the triune nature of God is difficult to define. One God of us all, God of gods is a good start. He is, the one true God of all that is, complete in all fact that, He is one in three, complete as one. Three natures, all soaked wet with truth. You ask of Him, Who is the clarifier if not You? You asked the question of a perfectly pure entity, you look again and the vision is of solid rock based truth. All power and majesty swirl about His head, He is a vista of raw power, a pure crackling energy that flashes like lightning and glory, all around His being. Seek joy and enjoy what is true. Do this sooner rather than later, as evil has been hurt seriously but will not stop, evil is relentless. Evil hates fun, it looks always to steal happiness and joy, not encourage it. Evil hates what is good, and Bad is It's constant companion. Most evil is played out by insignificant participants and should be noted but ignored. Fools desire only a selfish spotlight, take it from them and render them insignificant. Without the attention that they seek, they will become irrelevant quickly, soon to be forgotten.

Lies are acceptable now, at times even encouraged, or worse, congratulated for the fine work of deception they achieved by securing the deal. These are charlatans, deceivers, purveyors in doom. Be always vigilante regarding such, but again, steer clear of them when feasible. We do not cower at evil, we stand firmly against it. Your speech is guaranteed to be free, so use your voice in defense of what is right and good. What would you say lasts longer in life, that which is true and good, or of that which is false and bad? With truth comes honor and respect, while short term gains can be realized, at the end these will harvest what was sown. Good for good, and evil for evil. Though lately America is moving in the right way, complacency is an enemy.

The short term wins of politics cannot be depended on being our lasting future. Republican or Democrat the politics of the day can not save us from ourselves. If history has taught us anything, we know that eventually all great civilizations fall, and so one day will we. Though America is not mentioned in the Bible, in the eyes of the world we have become as the bible calls them, the Shining City on the Hill, a beacon of hope and a light of our God.

Return oh world, return to your beginnings, return to your Creator, return to the God from whom all blessings flow. All that is, that was, and all that will be come are from God, and the only way to approach a holy perfect God is through His only son Jesus. He is the one of the three who will testify of Himself and is our eternal advocate before the King. He is one of three, and all of One. He is the answer to the mystery of the Godhead, and only with and through Him can we gain eternal peace.
